Terms and Conditions – Quotations

*Product quoted is subject to adjustment based on the packaging and shipping requirements specified per purchase order. The quotation assumes basic bulk or placement packaging in totes, egg crates or other. Special requirements such as wrap in VCI papers, rolled and stacking, tube packaging or other are subject to additional fees.

*Non US shipments, and Freight shipment handling and documentation are subject to additional fees.

*Product quoted for silver plating is subject to adjustment based on silver market pricing at time of order placement.

*Central Metal Finishing reserves the right, to reject work or to make an extra charge for finishing any base material below our standard.

*Central Metal Finishing assumes no responsibility for defective plating or other finish on materials or merchandise previously plated by others.

*Central Metal Finishing assumes no liability for any loss of a damage to merchandise or material while in transit to or from our facility, whenever in vehicles owned by us, the customer or third party or for any loss or damage while the same are in our possession for any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to theft, fire, casualty or act of God.

*Customer agrees to indemnify Central Metal Finishing Inc. and hold us harmless, including our employees, from any and all liability, loss, damage, and cost including attorney fees incurred by CMF or our employees as a result of any claim made or suit commenced against CMF or our employees, from any injury to persons or damage to property or any other nature caused by the use of  merchandise, or material which processing was performed.

*Central Metal Finishing Inc.  warrant is that the process and finishing shall meet customer specifications as required by Purchase Order and that such processing shall be free from defect in material or workmanship. We assume no responsibility for the correctness of such method and procedure or the result when they are followed. We do not warrant the material furnished by the customer as suitable or fit for processing and finishing.

*No claim for shortage in weight or count or defect in quality whether latent or patent will be allowed unless presented in writing within three (3) days of receipt by the customer or the customers consignee.

*Central Metal Finishing Inc. warrant is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Our liability for any loss or damage, including, without limit, direct and indirect and consequential damage is limited to the customers cost of material or twice our processing price whichever is lesser.

*All customers merchandise in our possession shall be subject to a general lien for all monies owing by the customer, whether or not due or payable.

*Vendor Source Substantiation or First Article Testing will incur additional charges which will be determined upon submission of customer Purchase Order and associated requirements

*Precious metals pricing is subject to adjustment based on current market price at time of purchase order receipt.

*Process verification requiring test panels not supplied by customer may result in additional charge to customer at time of invoicing.
